This Privacy Policy explains how Bordales Technologies processes information through Luama, Bordales Comms, and related communications integrations, including integrations with the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta.

1. Information we may process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process contact and account identifiers, phone numbers, display or profile information, messages and media you send to a connected business, message delivery and status metadata, webhook and platform events, support requests, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Why we process information

We process information to route and deliver communications, respond to requests, operate business workflows and automations, provide customer support, maintain security and reliability, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, keep appropriate operational records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. WhatsApp and Meta

Bordales Comms may receive and send information through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta independently processes information under its own terms and privacy policies. Bordales Technologies does not control Meta's independent processing.

4. Businesses using Bordales Comms

Bordales Comms is designed to route communications to the business or service the user is contacting. Information may therefore be made available to the relevant connected business or authorised operator where necessary to handle the conversation, request, booking, order, support case, or other requested service.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may use infrastructure, hosting, security, communications, analytics, and software service providers to operate the service. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or systems, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain required business or security records, or to meet applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by service, tenant, record type, and legal requirement.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Children

Luama and Bordales Comms are not intentionally directed to children unless a specific service lawfully supports them with appropriate safeguards and authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
